The surroundings

The Masia Casa Gran is situated at the foot of the Cardó mountain range, next to the Pedraletes Ravine, which gives the name to the property.

From the house, you can make several excursions in the mountains, guided or not. We recommend you the following itinerary: “Ruta de la Font del Teix”.

The village of Rasquera, at only 1700 m from our property, is also worth visiting. It is a farming village essentially. There is an agricultural cooperative that makes and sells its own wine and oil.

In early May, Rasquera holds a very interesting cattle fair, where different animal species can be appreciated such as the white goats, a genuine breed from the mountain region. Rasquera is also well-known for its palm crafts and its local confectioner’s.
